Chalet Jumelles

For our courses we use the beautiful Chalet Jumelles set in an elevated position close to the centre of Chamonix town.  The chalet not only offers fantastic facilities but will give you a real idea of what it is like to live and work in a real ski chalet.

The chalet has six ensuite bedrooms furnished to high standard.  There is a large kitchen area on the first floor that we use on a daily basis for all of our cooking sessions.  The kitchen offers lots of work surface area as well as a large double oven and hob.   We also have 2 additional ovens and work areas that we set up specifically to ensure that the kitchen facilities meet our high standard for working and learning in.  The kitchen is equipped to a high standard with plenty of utensils and modern kitchen appliances.

The chalet affords the most fantastic view across to Mont Blanc and you can enjoy this from the huge south facing balcony and deck that surrounds the chalet.  The lounge area with it big sofas provides the perfect place to put your feet up after you have been cooking and is also the area where we hold our theory sessions.  There is a sauna available in the chalet as well as a TV/DVD/Stereo and free to view satellite.

First Floor
Spacious, light airy sitting room, dining room and kitchen, all open plan.
The kitchen is fully equipped for catering with large, American style fridge freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher. The large, wooden dining table will comfortably sit 12 people.
There is a balcony which runs around the front of the chalet and into the garden at the rear.

Bedroom 4 - Belle Achat - is also on this floor with twin beds. Adjacent to the bedroom door is a bathroom with a bath and shower and a separate toilet.

Second Floor
Wooden stairs lead off the dining area to the last two rooms.
Bedroom 5 - Mont Blanc- Double room with ensuite bathroom, bath and over bath shower. Own balcony looking across to the Mont Blanc.
Bedroom 6 - Brevent - Twin room with ensuite bathroom, bath and over bath shower.

The chalet is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Chamonix town where the shops, bars, cafes and resturants are located.

Towels and complimentary toiletries are provided during your stay.
